2 blasts rock Hangu; shop and house damaged

HANGU - A house and a shop were destroyed in two separate low intensity bomb blasts in Hangu district here on Sunday, police said.
According to details, a bomb planted by unknown miscreants adjacent to a house owned by one Haroon Khan on Wrasta Road, went off, as a result of which, a part of the house got damaged completely. It was a huge blast and caused panic among the locals.
In another similar incident, some unknown miscreants placed explosives near a shop situated on Tall-Hangu road, which exploded with a bang and the shop was destroyed completely. The local police rushed to the blasts sites, cordoned off the areas and launched search operation. During the investigation process, the police apprehended more than two-dozen suspected people who were shifted to unknown location for interrogation.
