ISLAMABAD – The Cabinet Division has declared Mir Kamal Marrian absconder, member finance of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), allegedly involve in Rs82 billion corruption scandal and stopped his salary and other privileges, TheNation learnt Thursday.

The sources said that Marri, also wanted to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), is on the run for five months. He took leave on medical ground but not reported to the office even after his sanctioned leaves got over.  They said Marri disappeared from the scene when the National Accountability Bureau started investigation into Rs82 billion corruption scam. The member finance earlier got two months medical leaves and escaped to Switzerland, sources added.
