Mobile services restored after 15 hours

ISLAMABAD - The mobile phone services across the country were restored on Thursday night after suspension of almost 15 hours, reported a private TV channel.The services were suspended in the country on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) in order to avert any terror attack on the processions.The services were suspended in 18 districts of Punjab, nine districts of Balochistan and six districts of Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azhad Kashmir. Earlier, Interior Minister Malik Rehman on Thursday evening directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to restore the services in places where the chehlum processions have ended.
