Ghous sees delay in rulers’ ouster ‘harmful’

SARGODHA - Former Sindh chief minister and PML-N leader Syed Ghous Ali Shah said that the federal rulers were destroying the national institutions while the economy was on the verge of ruin mainly because of power crisis.

He said that delay in the rulers’ ouster would be harmful to the public because they could not present any plan for the welfare of the state and the masses. He was talking to the newsmen here on the occasion of the wedding ceremony of Sheikh Muhammad Tayyub, son of Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal who is Chairman of Al-Shahbaz Group of Companies.
Mr Ghous termed the budget only a riddle of numbers and said that the enhancement of salaries and pensions was only a joke with the government servants and pensioners and it could not be justified with the ratio of inflation in the country. To a query, the former chief minister said asked why they had realised the sufferings of the masses after the period of over four years. He also said that there was nothing hidden to anyone that who was involved in the terrorists activities in Sindh. He urged the nation to get ready for the upcoming elections. He criticized the PTI’s slogan of tsunami. On the occasion, Federal Minister for State Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, Member of National Assembly Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, MPA Abdul Razzaq Dhillon, Ejaz Ahmed Kahloon and Mumtaz Ahmed Kahloon were also present.
