HAFIZABAD - The inhabitants of Madina Colony and parents of a Matric Student Kiran staged a violent protest against the mysterious disappearance of the girl. They also blocked bypass for sometime.

They chanted slogans against the Principal-cum-owner of the private school (Paragoan Iqbal Public School) for his alleged involvement in the abduction of 15-Year old Kiran. Haji Zulfiqar, father and mother of the abductee while narrating the mysterious disappearance of their daughter alleged that the Principal-cum-owner of the school Mazhar Iqbal sent Kiran from their house seven days back and since then they were running from the pillar to post to locate her but in vain. They alleged that the principal was involved in the abduction. While tears rolling down on their faces, the hapless parents alleged that they feared that Kiran had been forcibly married off to someone with the connivance of Mazhar Iqbal.
They appealed to the Punjab chief minister, Inspector General of Police and the RPO to help them recover their daughter and unfold the mystery surrounding her disappearance.
