FAISALABAD - Five people were killed while two other critically injured during a clash between two rival groups here in the Khurianwala Police precincts on Sunday.

The police said that Amjab group and Ramzan group had been locked in enmity from a long time. People from Ramzan group at 107/RB Chaudrywala opened fire on Akbar, belonged Amjab group, killing him on the spot. Meanwhile, in retaliation, armed persons of Amjad group gunned down Ramzan, his wife Najma, Jafar and Sabar while two people were also critically injured in the incident. The police took the bodies into custody and later handed over to the families after autopsy.
