Director General Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Azam Saleem died in a road accident here on Monday. According to rescue sources, DG BISP Azam Saleem was heading towards Islamabad from Chakwal when his car turned turtle at Motorway near Balkasar Interchange due to which he died on the spot. Motorway police and rescue personnel shifted the body of the deceased to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Chakwal where it was later handed over to the heirs.
Meanwhile, political leadership has expressed profound grief over the death of Azam Saleem.
They lauded the services of the deceased and prayed for departed soul to rest in eternal peace and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
