MALAKAND – Eid shopping has gained momentum in Malakand, as Eid-ul-Fitr is coming near.
Every Muslim celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with great excite after completing fasts in the month of Ramazan, but the people of Malakand could not be jubilant for the last few years because of militancy and devastating floods in the region.

Those militants have made their own state in state and the people are compelled to follow their so-called Islamic principles. They have imposed ban on various business for example, the barbers are restricted to not make shaves, C.D centers and mobiles ring tunes were banned, instruction to all business community not to sell any thing to female with out the presence of male member of their family and so on. After militancy, the army started operation to get rid from these militants, which also suffer the people of Malakand.
The people of Malakand are going to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with full zeal. The rush of customers in every shopping center is seen. Kids and females are buying new shoes, clothes, toys; make up sets and other artificial jewelry for them selves.
