CID officers’ remand extended for 7 days

QUETTA - Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Quetta-1 on Monday extended physical remand of three CID police officials, nominated in a kidnapping for ransom case, for seven days.Three CID officers, SP Tariq Manzoor, DSP Qutb Khan, DSP Bilal Ahmed, and another accused Hussain Langgov were produced in the ATC-1. The police sought a seven-day extension in their physical remand from the court. ATC Judge Muhammad Ismail handed over all the four accused to police for another seven days. It may be recalled here that Frontier Corps arrested SP CID Tariq Manzoor, DSP Bilal, DSP Qutb Khan Mandokhel and Muhammad Hussain Langov last month for their involvement in the kidnapping of Syed Abdul Qaddoos, a resident of Quetta. Earlier, the court had remanded them to police for seven days.
