SHC issues Afaqs production order for 11th

KARA CHI (PPI) - The Sindh High Court Friday issued production order for Afaq Ahmed, Chairman of his own faction of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi, on November 11, 2011. Justice Maqbool Baqir passed this order on application moved by under trial prisoner, Afaq Ahmed, from Malir District Jail. He moved application through human rights activist, seeking grant of bail or issuance of direction for his production in court. Iqbal Kazmi, human rights activist submitted Afaq Ahmed was incarcerated in prison since April 2004 at behest of rival Muttahida Qaumi Movement after implicated in many carious. He was still being implicated in cases despite he was already in prison. He stated some 379 MQM-H activists were killed so far, while others forced to leave country. He said legal advisor of party, Advocate Sohail Anjum, was also killed. He stated alleged accused Ajmal alias Pahari in his statement recorded before Joint Interrogation Report disclosed conspiracy regarding murder of MQM-H Chief Afaq Ahmed in prison.
