Govt-Opp talks deferred for today

ISLAMABAD - The scheduled talks between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League (N) could not be held on Tuesday due to the non-availability of one of the key PPP leaders Syed Khursheed Shah.

Now these talks would be held today on return of Syed Khursheed Shah from Karachi, where he was summoned by the party’s Co-Chairman and President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
Now the talks would most likely to take place at the same venue as Khursheed would return to the city Wednesday morning. The talks would mainly focus on the re-composition of the Parliamentary Commission for reconstitution of provinces while other contentious issues between the two sides including the new Accountability Law and the caretaker setup to hold next general elections could also figure in these negotiations.
