Pak-China friendship time tested: PM

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Pak-China friendship was time tested and no phrase can define the depth of relations between both countries.

He said this while talking to Chinese Ambassador Mr Liu Jian who called on him at PM's House here in Islamabad on Friday.
He said that Pakistan deeply appreciated the Chinese support in fields of energy, communications, agriculture, trade and banking.
The Prime Minister condemned the terrorist activities of East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) and said that Pakistan would provide every support in countering and defeating these forces.
The Prime Minister said that he had instructed law enforcement agencies to provide fool proof security to Chinese workforce working in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated Chinese assistance during natural calamities.
The Chinese ambassador conveyed the message of felicitation on behalf of Chinese government on assuming the office of the Chief Executive of Pakistan.
The Ambassador said that Pakistan and China are neighbors, friends, partners and brothers.
The Ambassador extended invitation the Prime Minister to visit China later this year which the Prime Minister accepted.
The Ambassador appreciated Pakistan government's support to all the issues specially China's position on Taiwan, Tibbat and Xinjiang.
