Rawalpindi bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday approved the interim bail petition of MNA associated with Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Hanif Abbasi,who was accused of being involved in misuse of controlled chemical ephedrine, till Sept 12.

The court granted bail to the MNA after ordering him to pay the Rs 200,000 as surety for bail.
Earlier, Abbasi was granted protective bail on August 13 in the ephedrine quota case by the Sindh High Court which would expire by Sept 7.
ANF had registered on July 29th a case against Abbasi for his alleged involvement in misuse ephedrine chemical.
