LAHORE - Lahore College for Women University in collaboration with Free Linguistics Conference, Sydney is hosting the First International Conference on Language Sciences and the Developing World at its campus on January 11.

The conference is supported by staff in the Linguistics Department at the University of Sydney and will focus on the understudied area of how language sciences relate to the developing world.
The LCWU VC Dr Sabiha Mansoor told that all arrangements have been finalized for this esteemed event which will bring together a range of critically oriented and globally recognized (applied) linguists who would be asked to present papers on how they see our understandings of language and language learning/teaching as being relevant to structuring policies and practices in the developing world.
