42 obese cops out of operational obligation

SIALKOT – Forty-two obese cops have been removed from their operational duties, as they have been asked by the DPO to reduce their weight which is considered as a blot on the face of the Police Department. “Overweight officials can’t go after outlaws,” he added. “Police officials are joining gyms, jogging and doing other workouts to maintain their physique at Sialkot Police Lines under the supervision of the senior police officials,” sources claimed.  According to the senior police officials, the measurement of the wastes of 2,200 policemen has been conducted out of which 42 police officials including inspectors, sub-inspectors and assistant sub-inspectors were found overweight. They have also been given a special task to reduce their wastes to 38 inches by July 7.Inauguration:  The PML-N Central Leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif inaugurated Islamia College Road here the other day.  The reconstruction of road project completed with the cost of Rs20 million. Local MPAs and DCO Zahid Saleem Gondal were also present on the occasion.
