KASUR - Two youths drowned while one was injured when they were swimming in two different incidents, here on Friday. Abid Hussain 19, drowned while Aamir Bashir sustained injuries while swimming in a private swimming pool of a club ‘Five Club Swimming Pool’ on Khara Road in the limits of City police station. Rescue 1122 rushed the body of the victim and the injured to DHQ Hospital. This is the second incident of drowning in a few days, a youth drowned at a private swimming pool, a few days back, but the matter was later hushed. About half a dozen such private pools were working illegally in the city without proper swimming instructor on hand.In the second incident, Muhammad Ashfaq 25 went to BRB Canal near Jhaal Patwan in the limits of Gandasingh police station along with his friends where he drowned. Rescue 1122 efforts were under way to locate the body of the victim.
