Special Judge Central Mian Khalid Shabbir recorded the statements of Muhammad Mushtaq, stenographer, Muhammad Aslam, cashier, of Ministry of Religious Affairs.
While giving the statement before the court, Muhammad Mushtaq said that former Director General Haj Rao Shakeel gave him 25,000 Saudi riyals which he transferred into the account of his (Shakeel’s) wife whereas Muhammad Aslam apprised the court that he has been handed over 10,000 riyals which he deposited in the bank account of spouse of former DG Haj.
The court deferred the hearing of the case till July 13, 2012.  So far, SJC had recorded the statements of 10 witnesses in the Hajj corruption case. Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi appeared before the court.
