TOBA TEK SINGH – The daily wages of labourers have been increased. The powerloom owners and workers agreed on an increase in the salaries of daily-wage workers here the other day. District Officer Labour Ch Saeed Akhtar said that under the agreement suitable raise had been made in the wages of workers. He said that agreement was signed by Malik Rehmat Ali and Mian Zahid Iqbal on behalf of the owners and Karam Elahi Dewan and Akhtar Abbas on the behalf of the workers. Assistant Labour Officer Muhammad Nawaz was also present on the occasion.
