Now even women started throwing acid on men: CJ

Chief Justice Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry saying that the frequency of acid attacks is fast increasing added that now even the women have started throwing acid on men.

He made the remark during the hearing of a case related to Wanni, Swara, Singchatthi cases during which the court directed the federal interior ministry to submit its reply on the next hearing after all the provinces submitted their replies.
The Supreme Court directed IG Police Punjab to further investigate the case of Tahira Bibi of Bhakkar who was being given on Wanni. The court also directed that section of forced rape be included in the FIR in this case. The case will come up for hearing next on May 17.
