PESHAWAR - Two militants and two security men were killed as the security forces thwarted the miscreants’ bid to flee custody late Monday.
Sources said that two detained militants snatched weapons from security men and killed two of them. However, the other personnel retaliated against their attack and killed them on the spot.
After the incident, the area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched. The bodies of the personnel were dispatched to their native towns after funeral in the Peshawar cantonment.
