QUETTA - Balochistan National Party-Mengal acting president Dr Jahanzeb Jamaldini said that his party would never support any undemocratic move.

Addressing a news conference here Thursday, he said the BNP-M was a liberal, democratic and national party which never took part in any undemocratic move. "We are struggling for the rights of Pakhtuns and other communities living in Balochistan," he added.
Criticising the Balochistan ministers who have been made non-functional due to the implementation of governor rule in the province, the BNP-M leader said the army of ministers is once again preparing themselves for looting and plundering public money. "The BNP-M doesn't support such elements who are accused of kidnapping for ransom and corruption under the cover of democracy," he added.
He said the ministers, who had carried out record corruption, are still using the name of Islam which was beyond understanding.
"They should seek apology over their mistakes and avoid using the name of Islam as a tool to gain power," he said.
The leader said his party supports the formation of Siraiki province, but, he added, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur and Jacobabad should not be incorporated in it.
"The new provinces should be formed on historical and geographical basis rather than administrative," he opined. He regretted that Baloch areas were being divided in different under a grave conspiracy against Baloch nation.
Responding to a question, Dr Jamaldini said his party would take an active part in the upcoming general elections. "The PPP government gave us 560 mutilated dead bodies of our youth while 54 workers of the BNP-M were killed during the regime," he said adding that establishment should change its attitude.
Earlier, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Council leader Mir Pasund Khan Mandahi announced to join the BNP-M.
