GUJRAT  - Deputy Prime Minister Pervaiz Elahi has said that people would decide in the next elections on the basis of performance and not dramas acted by some political parties.

Addressing a big gathering of former Nazims, Naib Nazims and notables here on Thursday, he said that during his tenure , Punjab government gave free books to the students and free of cost medicines to the patients , but Sharif brothers utilised all the funds on personal desires and useless projects like “Jangla bus” in Lahore was started without any planning . Due to the project the traffic of the City would be out of control instead of providing ease to the people, he added.
He said that every segment of the society is protesting on the roads due to corruption and incapability of Punjab government. He said that as compared to this, his  government had set up 14 such institutions of public service which were unparalleled earlier in the history of Pakistan. “We spread education, constructed hospitals, roads and educational institutions”, he added. Pervaiz said that the people should vote for such candidates who are sincere with them and have a will to serve them.
He said for ensuring prosperity of future generations, entire nation will have to come in the field and elect such right type of candidates who can remove the problems of the people in the Assemblies.
