LAKKI MARWAT - The residents of Naurang Town have demanded of the district administration to remove encroachments and launch action against encroachers.

Talking to this correspondent on Thursday, they said that both sides of road had been occupied by encroachers and they had set up makeshift shops and temporary kiosks there.  “Illegally built structures also hamper ongoing work on widening of road connecting Bannu with Mianwali and DI Khan districts through Naurang town”, they said.
They maintained that encroachments also caused a traffic mess in the city besides the transporters and pedestrians are confronted with numerous problems. They told that encroachments also gripped the markets and bazaars and local authorities concerned of municipal administration seemed helpless to take any action in this regard. They demanded that district administration should take notice of encroachments and order quarters concerned to remove them from both sides of main GT Road in Naurang city.
