14 killed in landmine blast near Chaman

At least 14 people were killed and several others injured in a landmine blast in remote border area of Chaman near Pak-Afghan boundary-post where NATO containers get into southern Afghanistan, officials said on Sunday.

According to Levi, paramilitary force, officials the blast occurred in Toba Achakzai area nears the border.
Some media reports said that a passenger bus hit by landmine planted by unidentified miscreants, resulted killing 14 passenger and injuring to seven others, women and children were among the dead.
“Seven injured have been shifted to Chaman Hospital,” the sources added.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman said that the blast was occurred Shandrai area and confirmed that 14 people were killed in the blast.
He said it was border area, therefore wounded were shifted to Chaman hospital. No militant group has claimed responsibility of the blast. Pakistan’s President and Prime Minster condemned the blast.
