JUI-F vows support for Bahawalpur province

BAHAWALPUR - Former federal minister Mohammad Ali Durrani met JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman here in Khanpur and conveyed the gratitude from Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi. He also thanked him for supporting the cause of Bahawalpur province on behalf of the people of the region.

On the occasion, Maulana Fazl said that his party would fully support the restoration of Bahawalpur provincial status. He said that the representative of his party in the Parliamentary Commission formed by the President would fully represent the sentiments of people of Bahawalpur region.
Both the leaders agreed on this point that both the parties will work together in connection with restoration of Bahawalpur Province. In this regard a high level delegation of JUI-F led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman will meet Nawab of Bahawalpur in the coming week.
On the occasion, the JUI-F chief expressed his hope that after the restoration of Bahawalpur Province Islamic law would be fully implemented.
