China visit to boost bilateral ties: Raja

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has expressed the confidence that his forthcoming visit to China will further strengthen the existing bonds of friendship between the two countries and take them to new heights.
He was talking to Liu Jian, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House on Friday afternoon.
Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that Pakistan is proud of its friendship and unique relationship with China.
He said that his visit to China will provide him an opportunity to meet Premier Wen Jiabo and discuss various bilateral, regional and international issues with him including the ongoing projects being carried out in Pakistan with the assistance of China.
Recalling the address of Prime Minister Wen Jiabao to joint session of Parliament during his visit to Pakistan in December 2010, the Prime Minister said that “his words of wisdom and sentiments of love and affection will be long remembered by the members of Parliament and the people of Pakistan.”
Lui Jian informed the Prime Minister that the people and the government of China are eagerly looking forward to the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
