Govt to reserve seats in NA for overseas Pakistanis: Kaira

Minister for information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said government would reserve seats for overseas Pakistanis in National Assembly (NA).

”We have given the right to vote to overseas Pakistan. Now we will allocate seats for them in NA”, Kaira was addressing Meet the Press program in Barcelona at Spain.
He urged overseas Pakistanis to play their due role for economic development of their country.
Pakistan is symbol of federation. We have given their respective rights to the provinces. We have given them their economic rights. Despite it we have been named anti state elements, he observed.
When we came to power we tendered apology to people of Balochistan first of all and gave provincial autonomy to Balochistan”, he stated.
PPP has given the rights to Haris by pursuing the mission launched by Benazir, he added.
Responding to a question he said situation in Punjab is worse than Karachi and it is responsibility of provincial government to maintain law and order situation therein.
“We sacrificed our prime minister and complied with the orders of court. But no letter can be written against the president till he remains president”, he announced.
