SHEIKHUPURA– Six people including a woman were killed in separate incidents in different parts of the district.

Further investigations were underway by the concerned police. In the other incident, a man was crushed to death by a high-speed truck in the limit of Factory Area police station.
According to details Muhammad Azam resident of village Faizpur Khurd was on his way to home by motorcycle. Near Shahdra Road, a speedy truck coming from the opposite direction collided with bike. As a result, Azam died on the spot while the truck driver succeeded to flee. Police started investigation after seizing the vehicle.
Likewise, a youth Waryam Ali drown in UCC Canal in village Muridke near Dera Sekhum. He was roaming at the canal's bank when incidentally slipped into deep water and drowned. His body was recovered and handed over to the family.
In another incident, 18-year-old Mumtaz Bibi, a resident of Dera Nigah was shot dead by her brother Nazim Ali over an unknown dispute. As per detail, both quarrelled during which infuriated Nazim opened indiscriminate fire on her, killing on the spot. The Farooqabad Police have registered a case. Similarly, a motorcyclist was knocked down by a speeding tractor-trolley in village Faizabad. As per detail, Mansha was on his way to home on a motorcycle. When he reached near Mizarpur a speeding tractor-trolley coming to the opposite direction hit the bike. As a result he received severe injuries and died on the way to hospital.
Meanwhile, a youth died at the clinic of a quake after administration of a wrong injection in village Moran Wali in the limits of Factory Area Police. Muhammad Boota was suffering from fever and he went to nearby clinic which was being run by a quake. Meanwhile, after the administration of an injection his condition went out of control and he died instantly. The family of the deceased later stage a protest against the fake doctor and the Health Department. They demanded the high-ups to take strict action against the quake and the health department officers for what they called "a free hand" given to the quakes in the district. The Factory Area Police have registered a case.
Meanwhile, the Muridke Saddr Police arrested four land-grabbers from village Tapyala Doost Muhammad here the other day.
According to details, the Muridke Saddr Police SHO along with heavy contingent raided the village and arrested Shahid alias Sadu, Zeaghum Abbas, Tanveer alias Sagu and others who were involved in land grabbing cases.
The police also recovered weapons from their possession.
