Cattle thieves’ gang busted

DASKA – The Satrah police have busted an inter-district gang of cattle thieves and arrested three members including its ringleader here the other.

DPO Afzaal Ahmed Kausar said that the police arrested Tahir Sultan (Chunia-Kasur), Muhammad Saeed (Manaawa Center Lahore) and Muhammad Asghar (Saadhokey). The police also recovered as many as seven stolen buffaloes and three cows from them.
The police have sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against them. Further investigations are underway, the DPO added.
