Sindh govt given 10 days for appointing opp leader

KARACH - The Sindh High Court set a 10-day deadline on Friday for the appointment of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly.  The SHC heard a petition filed by PML-F leader Jam Madad Ali which stated that the notification for the appointment of Nusrat Sehr Abbasi as the opposition leader was not being issued.  The Sindh advocate general sought more time, saying that the Sindh Assembly speaker was also serving as the acting governor. The court said that if the notification is not issued in ten days, the decision would be made by the court.
