Five killed in Balochistan firing incidents

QUETTA - At least five persons were killed and five others injured in three separate firing incidents in Mastung, Pishin and Naseerabad districts on Tuesday.

According to Levies officials, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on two tankers carrying LPG in Sheihkwasil area, some 60 kilometers away from Quetta within the limits of Mastung district. Resultantly, three people were killed and another wounded in massive gunfire.
One getting information, Levies personnel rushed to the site and shifted dead and injured to Quetta. The deceased were identified as Khalid Hussain, Mehoob Hassan and Muhammad Zubair while injured was identified as Khuda-e-Noor. “Deceased and injured belong to Punjab,” Levies officials said, adding, that a case has been registered against unidentified people and investigations were underway in this connection.
In another incident, two people were killed and another wounded in Pishin, some 40 km away from Quetta. Levies sources said that a vehicle was passing from Pishin Bypass area when armed men sprayed bullets on the vehicle with sophisticated weapons.
Resultantly, one man identified as Najeebullah died on the spot and two others Asmatullah and Zainullah sustained serious injuries. The injured were being shifted to hospital where one of the injured succumbed to his injuries. The assailants fled from the scene after committing the crime. Local administration has registered a case and started investigations.
Meanwhile, two persons namely Munir Ahmed and Ehsan Ahmed received serious injuries in main Dera Murad Jamali Bazaar when armed opened fire on a truck.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for medical aid.
