PESHAWAR
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Tuesday denied the outfit had threatened to attack the long march announced for January 14 by Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri. TTP spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan said "This is not true. We have not issued any threat to attack the long march. We have no comments for the long march." Dr Qadri had announced to lead a long march to Islamabad on January 14 if the government fails to fix the system.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has also decided to join the long march despite being a part of the current setup.
