FAISALABAD/TOBA TEK SINGH/JAND/SARGODHA/SKEIKHUPURA - At least nine persons including five women were killed and seven others injured in separate incidents of honour killing, enmity and road accidents over the past 24 hours.

According to police, Aslam and his son Zahid hit their neighbour Kalsoom Bibi with a brick following a children quarrel in the street.
Result, she sustained critical head injuries and died on the spot. The police registered case on the complaint of her husband Asghar.
Meanwhile, two bodies including of a woman were found from separate areas of the city.
According to the Thikriwala Police, unidentified assailants killed a 30-year-old woman and threw her body in Jhang Branch Canal to conceal their crime. On information the police fished out the body from the canal near chak 64-JB, however, identity of the deceased was yet to be established. In another incident, the police found the body of a young man, apparently was an addict, lying dead in Millat Town. The police sent the bodies for autopsy and started investigation.
Meanwhile, three women were abducted from different parts of the city in separate incidents. According to police, Imtiaz and his two associates abducted Razia Bibi from Tariqabad, while five accused including Arshad kidnapped a girl namely Saba from Bilal Town. In another incident, Shahbaz along with his five accomplices abducted a Christian woman Fauzia, wife of Asif from Gulistan Colony. The police registered separate cases and started investigation for the recovery of the women.
In TOBA TEK SINGH, a man killed his niece over suspicion in Chak 187/GB near Rajana on Friday. Riaz Baloch told the Rajana Police that his daughter Sumaira was married to Sabir six year ago but due to some disputes she was staying in her parents’ house. He added that her accused uncle had doubted her character over which he strangulated her to death. The police registered a case against the accused. Similarly in JAND, two persons died while seven others received multiple injuries in two different accidents here on Friday. According to details, first accident took place on Jand-
Kohat Road near Dhak village where Jaffar Khan, son of Noor Muhammad along with his daughter-in-law was going to Mithial when his motorbike collided with a van. Resultantly, he died on the spot while his daughter-in-law suffered injuries. She was shifted to hospital but succumbed to her injuries. In another accident on Attock-Basal Road, seven persons received multiple injuries when the van they were travelling in overturned.
Meanwhile in SARGODHA, a girl and her alleged lover were killed in the remit of Laksian Police on Friday. The police said that Adeel Ahsan, a resident of Laksian, Kotmomin tehsil, worked at a hotel and had an affair with a girl of his locality. The couple disappeared two days back and a report was registered at Laksian police station but their tortured bodies were found from a garden here on Friday. The bodies were handed over to the families after autopsy and the police have registered a case.
In SHEIKHUPURA, a youth shot himself dead over a family dispute in village Ferozewattwan here on Friday. Allah Ditta had some differences with his family over which he quarrelled with his family and ended his life after shot himself. The Bhiki Police are investigating the matter.
