QUETTA - A man was killed in Bolan district of Balochistan on Friday while Frontier Corps seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Mastung.
According to Levies officials, Ali Ahmed, resident of Dhadar tehsil of Bolan, was on his way towards Rind Ali Bazaar when armed men riding a motorbike opened fire on him. Resultantly, he sustained serious wounds and died immediately.
The assailants fled from the scene after committing the crime. Motive for the murder is stated to be old enmity.
Meanwhile, Frontier Corps in a targeted operation recovered heavy cache of weapons and explosives from Dasht area of Mastung district.
Security sources said that on a tip-off of presence of explosives and arms, FC personnel raided a house in tehsil Dasht and recovered rocket launchers, missiles, machine guns, Kalashnikovs, landmines and bombs. However, no arrest was made during the raid.
