quetta - The PML-Q MPA in Balochistan and former Federal Minister, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind said on Friday that pre-poll rigging has begun in Balochistan province to stop him from being elected in the upcoming elections.
Addressing a Press conference here at National Press Club, he lamented that his tribe was being targeted in the province.
He said Baloch nationals were being targeted during the Raisani’s rule where people were also targeted and killed owing to personnel enmity and the agencies were blamed for these attacks.
He alleged that the incumbent Governor in connivance with the present Election Commissioner, Balochistan, wanted to get his son elected from my consistency and that is the reason he and his tribe is being targeted.  He shared that he has sent his resignation lette from the party leader due to the problems that he was facing besides being part of the government.
He noted that 36,000 votes had been deleted from six Union Councils in Quetta on the pretext that those voters were from the Kachi area of Balochistan and could not be registered in other cities.
He further said that the Kachi area was affiliated with all other districts of the province some 20 years back.
He lamented that no action has so far been taken to protect his life and his tribesmen despite repeated requests and appeals to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan.
He expressed that the government would be restored in Balochistan within a few days and feared that soon after its installation the provincial government would restore all those corrupt in adminstration who were involved in the killing the Baloch nationals.
