KHYBER AGENCY - At least one volunteer of the pro-government Tawheed-ul-Islam (TI) group was killed while three others sustained injuries during an armed clash between TI and Laskar-e-Islam (LI) on Monday here in Naray Baba of tehsil Landi kotal, official and local sources said.According to sources, in the wee hours, an armed battle took place between the two groups for the hold of land in Khazana in Naray Baba area. The fighting continued for hours and both groups targeted each other’s positions with heavy weapons, sources said. The identification of the deceased could not be ascertained, however three wounded were named as Akhtarullah, Insaf and Niaz Mohammad. who were first shifted to Landi kotal hospital and from where they were referred to Peshawar hospital, said hospital sources. It is important to say that many militant groups have activated in the area against one another for the hold of more land.
