Soldier killed in ambush

mohmand agency : At least one soldier was killed and several others were injured on Thursday after Taliban attacked an Army convoy in Mohmand Agency. Officials said the militants attacked convoy in the Qandharo area of the tribal agency in the wee hours of Thursday.

“One of our soldiers was martyred and seven have sustained injuries after the attack,” an official said, adding, that a search action had been started in the area.
Officials said it was remote control bomb device planted along the roadside and exploded while Army convoy was passing through the area.
