PESHAWAR - Pakistan People Party, Kurram Agency chapter, President Dr Riaz Hussain, brother of former DIG, Irshad Hussain, was gunned down by unknown armed persons in Dabgari Garden on Wednesday.
Police said that Dr Riaz Hussain was gastro specialist, operating a clinic in Peshawar Dabgari locality.
They said that Dr Riaz Hussain was targeted in his car when he was come out from his clinic. They said that no person has come to register FIR against the criminals and but police would register FIR after collecting the necessary information.
Station House officer Sharqai Police station Kamal Khan said that Dr riaz Hussain has strong political background while his other brothers also serving in bureaucracy.
One of his brother Irshad Hussain remained DIG in police services of Pakistan.
When asked regarding his enmity with any one, he said that he has no enmity with any one but it might be a result of sectarian violence, which has also engulfed other parts of the country.
He said that police has constituted teams to nab the criminals and several suspected person already have been arrested.
