CHAGAI- At least five more persons were killed in the ongoing gunbattle between Levies Force personnel and miscreants after which the death toll has reached 20 on the second day of clashes on Saturday.
A number of armed men fled towards mountains after killing a tribal elder’s son. Levies Force personnel, helped by the local tribesmen, chased the assailants and engaged them in a firefight in the mountains of Chagai.
During exchange of fire, at least 20 persons including 17 miscreants and three tribesmen who helped Levies Force were killed in the two-day fighting. Quetta Commissioner Qambar Dashti told media persons that a total of 20 persons from both sides had been killed.
