June 10, 2012

ISLAMABAD  - Strongly condemning the new taxes on CNG, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday rejected them and termed them cruel step. Addressing a press conference, senior MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said imposition of new taxes on CNG would be tantamount to increasing woes and worries of poor masses. He said MQM has presented a shadow budget which if implemented would bring positive change. About direct and indirect taxes collection, Rizvi said it should be 70 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.
