PESHAWAR – Punjab government has refused to accept Dr Shakil Afridi as an inmate at Adiala Jail.Kyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said the KP govt had requested the Centre to shift Dr Afridi anywhere else due to security concerns. The federal government in turn asked Punjab government to make arrangements at Adiala Jail for his shifting.However, the Punjab government has excused to KP govt for shifting Dr Afridi at Adiala Jail.It merits mentioning here that Dr Afrdi was sentenced to 33 years in prison for helping the CIA to hunt down Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden through fake vaccination drive in Abbottabad.
