Naheed asks PPP workers to get ready for elections

PESHAWAR - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central leader Naheed Khan on Sunday asked the party workers to be ready for actively participation in coming general election in the country.

PPP’s founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto has given political awarness and educated people politically and that was why PPP was a party of common people, labours and workers, she said, adding that PPP could change fate of people of the country.
Naheed Khan visited Peshawar in connection with party’s provincial cabinet election held here. Besides others Gen (R) Ehsan Ahmad and Ibni Rizvi were also present on the occasion. The elections were held with Gen.(R) Ehsan Ahmad as election commissioner.
As per results, Noor Mohammad Khan was elected as president, Yahya Shah Khalil senior vice president, Maqsood Butt, Vice President, Nawab Khattak, Advocate General Secretary, Saifullah Jan, Deputy General Secretary, Javid Iqbal, Finance Secretary and Abdul Waheed as Secretary Information.
On this occasion, Naheed Khan congratulated the newly elected cabinet and asked its members to out for serving people and asked them to be ready for actively participation in coming elections.  Besides, Naheed Khan visited house of founding member of PPP and MNA Mihrunisa Afridi, who has died some days back and offered there fateha for her departed soul. 
She also condoled with Arbab Saadullah Khan on the death of his nephew and inquired about health of Wahid Afzal Gulra at hospital in Hayatabad in Peshawar.
