OKARA - Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo claimed that the PML-N’s tall claims and unwonted pride will dissolve as many political upsets were in the offing after the caretaker government took over.

The PPP Central Punjab President asserted that Mian Brothers were sacred of him and they had no contestant against him.
Addressing various public gatherings here, Wattoo claimed that since the PPP had an excellent rapport with masses, people would never abandon their support for the party as relationship with masses was extended beyond politics.
He said that the PPP was an ideological party, whose activists were immovable by others, warning that selfish elements who had deserted the party should learn from history that anybody deserting PPP, lost one’s political clout forever.
Wattoo claimed that the PPP government had performed remarkably in many spheres and had achieved milestones in the history during its five years in the power. He also announced a flat rate of Rs8 per unit for tube-wells, saying that it was a gift from the outgoing people’s government for the farming community. The Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs said that the PPP would sweep the forthcoming general elections in Punjab.
Later, talking to media men here, Wattoo said that agriculture sector would be revolutionised after coming into power and all resources would be utilised to rehabilitate and protect the Christian community.
It is the need of the day to promote religious harmony in the country, he added.
He also lauded President Asif Ali Zardari for signing Pakistan-Iran Gas Pipeline agreement and handing over of Gwadar Port to a Chinese company which he said would uplift the national economy.
