Woman among three killed in Quetta

QUETTA - Three people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of violence in Balochistan on Sunday, official sources said.

Unidentified gunmen killed a man, Zafarullah, and a woman for honour in Lehri area of Sibi district, Levies sources said, the attackers managed to escape from the crime site, however. The bodies were taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. The sources confirmed the man and the woman were killed in the name of honour. A case has been registered. A search operation has been started to trace the unidentified killers.
In another incident, a man gunned down his brother in Gandakha area of Jaffarabad. Sources said the incident occurred in Gott Sada Khan Umrani area where a man killed his brother over a domestic row. The victim was identified as Habibullah.
The Frontier Corps meanwhile arrested an accused involved in kidnappings near Cattle Market, Eastern Bypass area, and handed him over to police.
Separately, the Frontier Corps during search of a vehicle in Mastung district apprehended six Afghan nationals for traveling without valid documents. They were handed over to the Levies.
