8 killed, 20 injured as passenger bus hits landmine in Orakzai

At least eight people were killed and 20 others injured as a passenger bus hit a landmine at Orakzai Agency on Thursday morning.

According to the media reports, the incident took place when a bus hit a roadside planted landmine in the Mashi Mela area of Orakzai, the only one among the seven tribal areas in the country, that does not border Afghanistan.
At least eight persons were killed in the incident while 20 others were injured.
Security forces and rescue team rushed to the site shortly after the blast was reported.
All the injured were shifted to near-by hospitals.
