KARA CHI - PPP will release video documentary on the political struggle of party's slain chairperson Benazir Bhutto on her first death anniversary being observed on December 27, sources in PPP revealed to The Nation Thursday. Benizar Bhutto Shaheed who was assassinated on December 27, 2007 at Liquat Bagh Rawalpindi. PPP will observe the death anniversary at her native town Ghari Khuda Baksh where she was buried. In addition to the video documentary feature BB's political struggle, PPP has organised seminars, symposiums and lecture under the directives of Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman. Moreover, PPP Sindh chapter will also hold seminars, symposiums and lectures in different divisions of the Sindh to pay tribute to PPP Shaheed Chairperson Benizar Bhutto. Sindh Information Minister Shazia Marri told The Nation that to pay tribute to Benizar Bhutto on her first death anniversary Sindh Information department has decided to hold a photo exhibition and seminars across the province. She said photos of Benizar Bhutto would be displayed which had never been showcased earlier. "The photo exhibition would highlight Benazir's life as daughter, wife, mother and a woman leader who played key role in restoring democracy and fighting military dictators", she added. She said that the ehibition would not be limited to Karachi only, but in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and other major cities of Sindh as well.
