Karachi   - A petition was filed in the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry against the out-of-turn promotions bill.  The petitioner argued the bill was tabled in the assembly on February 7, but a notification regarding its approval was released on February 4.  It was mentioned in the petition that the approval of the bill was against the Constitution, so the Supreme Court should cancel the promotions made under the bill.
