QUETTA - At least two drivers were killed and about 10 NATO containers were damaged when several rockets landed in a terminal located near Hazara Ganji, in the outskirts of Quetta, on Friday night.According to police, unidentified armed men fired four rockets targeting NATO containers which were en route to Kandahar from Karachi and were temporary parked at the terminal. Resultantly, rockets landed with huge blasts and the containers caught fire. “Two drivers identified as Abid and Waheed Shah received multiple injuries in the attack and died,” a police official said, adding, that the assailants also opened indiscriminate firing. Police and other law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site after the incident and cordoned off the area. The fire fighters were also called in which extinguished the fire. Containers were carrying supplies for NATO forces deployed in Afghanistan. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack on NATO tankers. Police has started investigations into the incident.
