ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission has restored the NA membership of Malik Nawab Sher Waseer, the Member National Assembly and Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission, following a stay order issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The EC recalled its notification dated February 8, 2013 whereby Malik Nawab’s NA membership was de-notified over an electoral issue. According to notification number F. 2(4)/2008-Cord issued Tuesday, the EC, in pursuance of the SC order, has recalled its previous notification whereby Malik Nawab Sher was de-seated as MNA.
