RAJANPUR - Two children lost their lives here in Daajal while taking a bath in a village pond.

As per detail, 11-year old Waqas and 9-year old Farhan drowned in a pond in Daajal, 17-km away from here. They were taking in pond where but water was deep and the mud below was loose.
The people alleged that Lal Shah Bukhari, a resident of Daajal, during taking illegal possession of the TMA piece of land with the help of crane dug a deep pit in the course of a nearby hill torrent, to fill the land. It turned into a deep pond in which the boys were bathing and ultimately drowned.
On information, police officer Bilal Aslam Khan Khosa reached the site where public was enraged. He took the bodies into custody and sent for post-mortem to Daajal Hospital.
Court orders forfeiting pay of DPO: The court ordered to forfeit the pay of the DPO on account of continuous wilful defiance of court orders by the Fazilpur Police.
According to detail, Civil Judge-cum-I Magistrate Muhammad Sajjad Hussain Khan ordered the District Accounts Officer, to forfeit the monthly pay of the Rajanpur DPO, and submit a report on Friday (today).
The court said that the Fazilpur City Police SHO had been returning back court orders without compliance pretending his occupation in other matters.
